NEW for 2024 – We are installing a new accessible playground for our campers and guests. Our commitment is to have it installed in the Springtime ready for the Camping Season!!!

We thank the hard work, dedication and collaboration of Elevated Experience Camping, EEC Society and Brazeau County to make this project possible for our campers and guests.

Our day use area has a small  beach, picnic tables, & Adirondack chairs. The day use area is easy to access from the main entrance & there are outhouses nearby. This is an unsupervised wading beach. Please note: This area is located on the North Saskatchewan River & is known for strong swift currents.

IMPORTANT: Due to the strong current, swimming in the river is NOT recommended

Live bait vending machine now available conveniently located in front of the store with  24/7 access.

You can rent a giant Jenga, outdoor ping-pong table, Yardzee & much more. We will deliver & pick up the next day to & from your campsite free of charge.

Have you ever wanted to home a gnome? Look no further than Elevated Experience Camping as under the boardwalk we have started a gnome forest for all our campers & guests to enjoy. We are so excited to see how all of you help gnome the forest!

Play BIRD BINGO throughout the campsite! Pick up your bird bingo card at the store, play and enter to win fun prizes! There are also bird feed dispensers at the office, shower house area and playground. Get a cup of birdseed for $1 and feed the birds!

We have an exciting fleet of daily bike rental options for the whole family. The great thing about our bike rentals- they are for the entire day.

We are testing out a couple e-bikes available for rent. Enjoy biking through the trails without any of the effort.

Whether it’s a hike or a bike ride you’re after, kid or pet friendly, our trails will offer you hours of exercise, exploration & adventure. Fun facts for your hiking adventures will be featured throughout our hiking trails!

Community Library boxes are situated throughout the campground to promote literacy & bring campers together. (Take a book, return a book)

Explore our campground! Our discovery kits can be borrowed for the day. Visitors of all ages can enjoy discovering our wildlife, wilderness, river and night skies at Willey West Campground.

Whether it’s a hike or a bike ride you’re after, kid or pet friendly, our trails will offer you hours of exercise, exploration and adventure that also allows you to learn fun facts on interpretive trail signs posted throughout our hiking trails.

Try out a board game! Whether you are looking for some entertainment during less favorable outdoor conditions or interested in some friendly competition, we have board game rentals. What is cool about our board rentals? You can swap them out as much as you want during your daily rental.
